Student Engagement VIDEO

  1. Prior to Testing

    1. It is HIGHLY recommended that teachers complete the  Test Administrator Certification Course.  I would recommend that all NEW teachers to the district complete this certification course.  Test Certification Companion Document should be used during the certification course.

    2. A refresher training should be offered to all staff prior to testing

      1. How to login to the TA interface

      2. Review the script

      3. Review testing times.  Reminder that proctors must keep track of the official time.  The system will not keep track of time.

      4. Review Active Proctoring

      5. Review TA setting up a testing session and how to stop a testing session

      6. Review what happens if a student pauses or stops their test

      7. Staff needs to review their rosters and test tickets for missing students

      8. Printing Missing Test Tickets if needed

      9. Troubleshooting in TIDE

      10. who to call if there is an issue during testing

  2. All Staff need to reset passwords, have all staff members login to the TA interface/TIDE site prior to testing.  If there are any issues with login, please contact Jessica Mamais. This needs to be completed prior to testing days.

    1. Access the TIDE login page.

      1. On the TIDE login page, click on the link to “Request a new one for this school year.”

      2. Enter the email address you use to log into TIDE.

      3. An email (from AIRAST-DoNotReply@airast.org) which contains a clickable link will be sent to the email address associated with the account.

      4. Click on the link. You will be directed to a page in TIDE where you can enter a new password. The link will expire in 15 minutes; if you do not create your new password within 15 minutes you will need to request a new link.

      5. Follow the on-screen prompts to create a new password and respond to security questions.
